What taxes are added to the price of my experience?

Lodging Tax and Sales Tax: 13%
Georgia Hotel-Motel Fee: $5.00 flat fee per room, per night
All other Taxable Services: 7%

What is your cancellation policy?

All reservations are non-refundable. Cancellation will occur without reimbursement of funds; however, payment can be transferred to another event within one year of the date of reserved event. A $75 transfer fee may be assessed. Please contact us with any questions.

Can I change the dates of my experience?

If you need to change the dates of your event, please contact your Sales Manager or send an email to sales@winshape.org.

What is your reservation policy? If I change my mind, can I get a refund or attend a different event?

The full amount of the event will be charged to your credit card at the time of the reservation. Once the card is charged, the payment is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another event within one year of the date of the reserved event. A $75 transfer fee may be assessed. Please contact us with any questions.

Is there a schedule available for my experience? If so, where can I get it?

A schedule will be sent to the Group Leader prior to arrival. (The scheduling of sessions and activity times is subject to change prior to the date of the experience.) A final copy of the schedule will be given to each participant upon arrival.

What dress/attire is appropriate?

We recommend casual attire and closed-toe shoes when participating in WinShape Teams programming (athletic wear and jeans are both acceptable). When eating at WinShape Retreat (Great Hall), attire is business casual. 

Are WinShape Teams experiences safe?

Yes! We put a very high priority on ensuring the safety of our guests. For WinShape Teams activities, all of our facilitators are certified by ANSI-ACCT practitioners and receive ongoing training in both group processing and technical skill sets. Our challenge course is maintained and inspected bi-yearly by ACCT Professional Vendor, Signature Research, Inc.

What if I have dietary restrictions or special accommodations?

If you have any dietary restrictions or other special needs, please contact your Event Specialist so we can accommodate you accordingly.

Please Note:

At this time, WinShape Retreat is only able to offer the following dietary accommodations: vegetarian, vegan, and dietary avoidance* of lactose, gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, seafood, and shellfish.

*Due to the handcrafted nature of our food, variations in our supplier ingredients, and our use of shared cooking and preparation areas, we cannot ensure that our food is free from any allergens.

Anything outside of the list offered will be assessed by the culinary team on a case-by-case basis to determine our ability to meet those needs with excellence.

I’d like to stay an extra day or two with my group following our experience… can we do that?

We would love to have your group stay longer – it’s great to spend time with them while you can! Check in with your Event Specialist for availability, rates, and options.

How are lodging rooms configured?

Rooms with double occupancy will be equipped with two beds unless otherwise requested for married couples. Also, it is expected that no guest will share a room with a person of the opposite gender who is not his or her spouse.

Requests for changes to room configurations, based on the occupancy listed in the signed agreement, must be communicated 3 weeks prior to your group’s arrival along with the initial participant/rooming list. Requests submitted less than three weeks prior to your experience will be subject to a set-up fee per room/per night. We are unable to accommodate room/roommate changes upon arrival or during your stay at WinShape Retreat.
